some are lighter orange
some are deeper red orange
(bottom one lighter, upper one more red)
red ones tend to be more soft ripe






despite that some are no so red 
n maybe underripe 
all got juicy smooth flesh 
juz oozing out sweet juice once opened
yet still a bit 回甘 tangy aftertaste 







a piece that has broken up in box 
coz so soft ripe 
n prone to any pressure around 









two pieces of different shapes 
left one rounder
right one a bit more square like
feels like.. square ones are more fleshy
also
square ones got more grey shades at bottom
n that's some black fibres.. which feels sweeter 







a piece that got hurt n bruised 
looks like rotten 
juz skip it







some got black fibres at centre stem 
n tiny seeds growing 
these pieces feels like more well developed 
n sweeter 










last 3 pcs.. looks the most red ripe
from bottom to top, the more orange to the more red









the last one 
the most red one
got a black air hole at centre stem
yet.. it's so sweet so juicy 
juz the sweetest one of all 
n comparable to dried dates sweetness 
(likely.. black fibres of persimmons = sweet)








done abt 4 boxes 
which equals 19 pcs
most are a bit underripe n not sweet enough 
while the last red one.. got perfect sweetness

--------------------------------------------------------------------------- galia melon @20190404 three melons all got rotten spots...  sign of rot on the stem end...  and at the bottom... the blackened part has become soft and spongy...  opening look... out of my expectation... thought galia melon is with green flesh, as suggested on the web...   seeds removed... no rotting inside the flesh... that was not juicy when cut...   the seeds inside are sweet... but are scary to me coz my mouth would react badly, burning n bleeding... some kind of melon allergy...  spongy flesh towards the one end...  next the second melon...   the second one is paler... and the bottom end got serious moldy rot...  the spongy flesh towards one end...  cut out showing how deep it was infected... some of the flesh become translucent... n that rotting smell is obvious...  the rotten sp...
