a strange poor batch of nam dok mai details recorded for ref remarks... nam dok mai are generally soft smell n colour should be better indicator of ripe should 1, smell sweet n fragrant 2, not 肉色 or else maybe not ripened best not of best taste -------------------------------------------------------------------------- mango, nam dok mai Thailand @20190603  three pieces in comparison same soft to touch goes in the order according to the skin colour #1 at this level of grey bruise the rot is not deep inside juicy n soft but flesh are are not sweet throughout  seed a bit brown n rot juz cant ripen perfectly... #2 another piece of rot n bruise but likely not ripened properly? or maybe not enough time on tree? smell not sweet n fragrant a larger piece more firm... bruised skin likely hinder its ripening stem end rot looks this for skin rot not affecting al...

more king mango from thailand... juz the same supplier though with a different fruit label... maybe a different batch would be grown at a different place? looks larger n of better quality... good ripe but not rot! -------------------------------------------------------------------------- king mango thailand @20190602 #1  wrinkled skin... soft n feel bruised to the touch...  knife down firm flesh looks golden    all right firm flesh succulent mildly sweet not so juicy though firm thick fibre strands    seed with much tough fiber hard to bite it clean #2  another wrinkled piece but to the less extent also more yellow on skin same with those little black dots 甜點  knife down same firm feel skin off golden yellow more juicy looking as it's less wrinkled    flesh fibre is more fine...
