this summer same encounter lots of mangoes
all so tempting, from the outlook to the smell
this year a bit different than last year
n that Thailand mango ended so early b4 July
meanwhile
mainly Taiwan choices prevail
gotta shift to hv Taiwan instead
lucky still.. these are all so good
btw I am surprised n overwhelmed by the great varieties
(some of which I first try this year)
as Thailand mango out of supply
n only Taiwan choices so abundant
decided to try more new ones

these remaining 水蜜桃
same looks unfresh n rotten
9th n 10th..
...
overall
for most of the 水蜜桃
juz so unfresh.. underripe but rotten
juz cant taste it's proper ripe state taste
n thus unfair to compare
only that.. experience tells 水蜜桃 so far of poor quality.. n often taste worse than 愛文 & 金煌
(though.. its said to be a flavourful variety..)

for 愛文
it's an interesting sweet flavour
plus an attractive mango aroma even unopened
however.. small body size
n thus easily bruised n prone to rotting
plus.. no big bites
juz no worth it to me
...
for 金煌
it's my most fav variety
large body n big bites
quality better assured
n most are sweet juicy n succulent
also.. as it's of a large body.. storage time longer
n can last longer even after rotting starts
