king mango is another thai mango that I love to have...
it's a firm flesh mango with a mild sweetness
as of the taste
it's not like most mangoes that is sweet n sour
got a unique subtle mango flavour with a hint of longan
love that it gives a bit more crunch more solid mouthfeel..
爽滑
also the mild sweetness is great
without the over sweet aftertaste that left tongue feeling dry
really mild that got a very refreshing aftertaste

juz not seeing for some days they became super rot
my fault to be not taking good care of them...
good that they are some firm flesh mangoes such that rot wont affect quick n easy...
therefore still have some remaining good flesh...
having them in the order of rotness
start from the most rot to the least
judging according to the area of rot...
#1
#2
#3
realize should first finish the other three greener ones...
green n less ripe but with severe rot..
#4
greenest one (left one first)
knife down duper firm
inside its pale yellow flesh
but the stem end is seriously rot
it's not sweet
but will not got that tangy taste one might think of as other mangoes
so rot with most flesh inedible...
juz cant think of how to describe the flesh
think a firm peach would be the best words...
got a similar flesh texture of it...
#5
a piece with a big bug hole...
juz open up n see...
still firm to touch...
open up still ok yellow...
looks fine n taste fine on the skin
so take some bites further...
some point with rots
unpredictable spot of rot...
juz shouldn't have it... might have swallowed bugs...
yet still go for most ok looking flesh... lol...
n never wasted the okay bites on other side lol..
that's how far the bug hole goes...
then the remaining are some less rot ones among the others... with more flesh still good to have...
#6
fisrt of 3
looks good n yellow
soft n sweet enough
...
the big rot in the middle is easily removed
...
same with that black fibre strands
n some seed rot
#7
2nd of 3
still some stem end rot
a bit more yellow skin
less rot level
more flesh available...
same firm succulent n mildly sweet flesh...
better looking seed left ...
#8
the 3rd of 3
no stem end rot but start at the tip...
likely some mouldy growth
feels slimy when touch...
half piece is rot
the remaining flesh is same good enough...
all rot seeds left...
going through all of them is tiring omg...
these rot seeds are really stinky...
smells bad in the room
n the goodness of king mangoes cannot be tasted...
juz wish they have been rescued so that no wasted these great guys king mangoes...
preview...
