 one more round of rainbow mango this month...
this time got two that are larger...
weighted over a pound...
all of them are juz smelling 芫荽 coriander like last batch...

 three of them with rot n bruises on skin...
some wrinkles as well...

mostly green skin still...

 knife down very firm
open up are hard fibres as felt by knife
looks golden yellow
still sweet
not very juicy... 

got some black fibre strands on the stem end...

sweet enough for the outer flesh
yet inner flesh is unripe n sour
inner flesh will be a lighter yellow...

 small thin seed... juz as usual...

 have one that could be even more unripe...
all green skin...
more firm to the touch...
smells no sweetness... 

 knife down softer than first one...
surprise me...
open up looks soft creamy juicy... 

with less thick fiber... 

yet less golden... 

*think the softer feel when cut is only bcuz the fine fibre... cant tell the ripeness n sweetness... 

 except flesh on skin is sweet enough
most flesh is sour like citrus...
with light yellow flesh...
btw more sour on the stem end side...
yet it's very juicy...
would be a perfect one if ripe... 

 still finished the whole piece...
a small seed left...

a beautiful rainbow looking one...
with orange n yellow n green at the same time...
with some rot...
soft to touch...
got a bit oily on skin... likely sigh of ripened...
smell of 芫荽 is still here lol... 

 knife down smooth n soft...
open up looks golden yellow...
also looks more gooey...
not that juicy...
maybe moisture lost as too long ripening time...
juz looks very ripe this piece... 

it's the kind of rot doesnt affect deep into flesh...

 the whole piec is soft n creamy...
n pure sweet...
like having a pudding... 

 same small seed after those pudding flesh...

 largest piece...
with rainbow colour skin...
got a big bruise... 

no oily ripe skin...
still soft to touch... 

 open up golden looking
soft flesh felt with knife...
juicy obviously...
should be perfectly ripe... 

 all flesh are good...
sweet n creamy n juicy...
got fibre still firm enough to give some mouthfeel... 

like this better than those pudding stage flesh...

 only flaw to be this bruise...

 a clean small seed left...

looking rot n wrinkled one...
probably overripe... 

open up is another piece very ripe
flesh looks orange yellow...
looks gooey n juicy... 

 one more piece tastes like mango pudding...

though too ripe...
started to rot from the inside... 

also a big bruise on the tip...

 a rotten seed left with some bad flesh...

 second largest one
looks to be at perfect stage of all piece...
a little green only...
with 甜點...
yet got sone bruises...
same smell of 芫荽 coriander...
to me likely the riper the more 芫荽... 

 knife down already juiced out...
open up looks gooey juicy shiny...
yet got visible stronger fibre...
not that deep orange as some others... 

 still half unripe...
with pale yellow inner flesh...
inner flesh firmer n sour...
judge it wrongly with green hues on skin...
should be the rainbow colour be a better sign of ripeness...
the largest one with rainbow skin... 

a little seed rot on the tip... 

overall rainbow mangoes are some good mangoes... 

got good experience with them

given that that are ripe they are creamy juicy... 

also like the distinctive 芫荽 aroma... 

it left no such flavour on flesh but only to skin...

yet think that's what makes it a not overly sweet mango... 

meanwhile... 

the only drawback would be its relatively small size...

no big bites of flesh... not satisfying enough... 

this delicate mango got bruised easily

n when it's got hurt the small fruit will got large proportions to be wasted...
