red guavas

red guavas are said to be a sweeter variety...
never had them b4 n looking forward to try them...
juz need a little bit bit of getting used to
as this is my first time having red guavas...
their colour are a bit too bright to me hahaha...
it is said to be a sweeter version than the white ones
but I juz don't think there is much difference in terms of sweetness...
maybe mine are not ripe enough...
n the two moldy ones are more ripe but flesh becomes a bit mushy...
however I notice a special fragrance with these red ones... but juz cant tell that smell by now...
maybe a bit like red grapefruit?
then proceed to the 4 in a pack ones...
the 4 in a pack one smell the fruity b4 opening the package...
maybe bcuz they are store on the counter at the grocery store...it seems to have ripen more naturally...
the first bite reveals everything...
it's super red... soft and fruity..
the whole thing is a supreme experience
the second one has got a red blush on the surface
but camera cant capture it well...
second one got less seed n are less sweet...
the third one I open up the other 4in a pack
one that is very green
it's not ripe
even the seed part doesn't start to grow sweet
its sour though not that crunchy
the fourth one though with a very pale green skin
has more white part flesh...
white part flesh is not as soft as red flesh...
n it's not that sweet
fifth nothing special
ok sweet
soft enough
not so bright red
sixth one
with obvious red blush on the skin
with stem attached
confirmed that those with a red blush will have bright red n swett soft flesh...
they will be very ripe with duper gooey seed part...
seventh one
very red perfectly soft
with good amount of seed part
eighth one
the perfect piece
super red super gooey seed part flesh
with the largest proportion of seed part so far
